Janella Horne

My childhood preoccupation with flora, fauna and the delights of nature has been realised in my adulthood through the medium of watercolour painting. I am a self taught watercolourist & the idyllic setting of my home in rural Oxfordshire has inspired me to capture a little piece of pastoral utopia, enriched with vibrant colours, bold lines and varied textures. My first exhibition was in 1999 at the National Herb Centre near Banbury, which was extremely successful. Since 2008, painting has become my main occupation. I have been busy painting commissions and have exhibited as part of the Oxfordshire Artweeks event for the past three years.
